About Our Child Care Centre
The Centre has been licensed to provide care for children between the ages
of 18 months to 12 years, Monday to Friday during the hours of 6:30 a.m. to
6:00 p.m. We require that all children be fully toilet trained before they can
be admitted into the Centre. Children with special needs can be
accommodated.
The Centre offers the following types of programs:
The Centre is run by a volunteer Board of Directors in conjunction with the
Director of the Centre and is a non-denominational, non-profit, registered,
charitable organization.
Philosophy:
Our Lady of the Annunciation Child Care Centre will provide a safe, secure
environment that promotes multi-culturalism and fosters self-esteem, self
discipline and independence. The social, emotional and cognitive needs of
each child will be met by our diverse program. This respectful and co-
operative atmosphere will be nurtured through praise and positive
reinforcement.

- Toddler/Preschool Program starting at 18 months
- JK/SK Before & After School 3.5 - 5.5 years of age
- Before & After School 6 - 12 years of age
- Summer Camp To be announced yearly

esteem through guidance, with teachers acting as facilitators rather
than directors. - A friendly atmosphere encouraging self-expression through verbal and
physical activities as well as opportunities to allow the children to
expand their sense of responsibility of self and others. - A flexible, yet structured program that meets the needs of each child
as well as a group. - Opportunity for community involvement, particularly with the OLA
Catholic School. - An environment where parental input will be welcomed to achieve the
best possible care for all children and their families.
